Our bodies have the ability to repair almost any damage done to it if given the right tools. The presence of disease or illness is not the presence of something evil but more accurately the absence of something essential. Using whole food supplements and medicinal quality herbs and after extensive testing to find the cause of the problem, you will be offered several options to bring the body back into balance.

By whole food I mean that each supplement is manufactured from the whole plant organically to retain all of the qualities that make it effective. Fractionated or chemically produced supplementation is ineffective and lacking the ability to provide the body with all the tools needed for success in healing. Prescription drugs can be a lifesaver when used properly and on the short term. However long term use can cause many of the problems we face each day. Long term care and balance should be achieved through natural means and the Ki Center will work with you and your doctor to achieve a prescription drug weaning program for your long term well being.

We will use several tools to facilitate the finding of the cause of your issues including:

  Records the sound of each valve of the heart to determine functional deficiencies before they cause structural damage. The graph is then interpreted to determine specific nutrient deficiencies to support cardiac tissue.

This testing uses your own muscles to identify the weaknesses that lie within your body. Using acupuncture points, trigger points and Applied Kinesthiology the actual cause can be found so that appropriate treatment can be applied accurately without chasing symptoms. The ancient art of Reiki is a hands on healing modality that uses the inherent electrical energy or "Ki" energy that all of us possesses to facilitate healing energetically. We are bio-electric in nature and anything that generates an electrical field (our bodies) can be manipulated to alter that field. Reiki is simply a learned art that influences this field and facilitates the release or clearing of electrical blockages along the acupuncture meridians or "energy pathways". Whatever the need this is just one of the tools the Ki Center uses to bring about healing for the whole body.

If you love your animals like I do then consider helping them to heal the natural way. If there was anything more detrimental to our pets' health it's what they eat. Nutritional health is function specific not species specific. By that I mean their immune system works just like that of people. By far the healthiest diet your dog can eat is the BARF diet. That stands for bones and raw food. Their metabolism and digestion is set up to digest these raw materials and extract all the nutrients needed for good health. There is a web site that you can get more detail on the BARF diet, just type in BARF diet on a search engine and you will get all the info you need. When illness or disease set in by all means get to the Vet and determine what is going on. Then consider whole food nutrition targeted specifically to the need for long term health. I use these products personally for my dog and cat with great results. Hap Kido is a Korean style martial art. It is a combat style and not a sport karate which makes it very effective for street self defense. Combined with Dim Mak which are the pressure point strikes, and very dangerous, you have an excellent method of self defense. Private and semi-private lessons are available only due to the nature of the techniques used and the instructors desire to work closely with the student. Exploring "Ki" energy as it used in self defense will be a focus as well as the traditions associated with this ancient martial art. Traditional belt progressions as well as modified self defense courses are offered. This is an excellent program for women as strength has no bearing on effectiveness of the techniques.

I am an 85 yo woman with atrial fibrilation, osteoporosis and general health concerns. My doctor said that the atrial fib was not curable and that I would have to take drugs for life. I was having severe problems with panic attacks. So extreme that I had to call someone on my cell phone to talk me across a bridge that I was driving on. I am a sophmore in high school and had told my mom I wanted to get rid of some warts on my hand. I was embarrased and covered my hands alot so no one would see them. I began my association with Bill Mathews and the Ki Center several years ago when I was confronted with several major health challenges. As a middle age male that had lived a typical American lifestyle, my body finally broke down and I became very ill. I had already gone through a lot of medical diagnostic procedures and some prescription therapies that were ineffective. The doctors were recommending at least two surgeries with no guarantees of restoring my health. I went to the Ki center and the first appointment was a real eye opener. What is "Ki"?
Ki or Chi in Chinese is the energy field that we all generate. We are bio electric organisms that transmit brain signals via chemical and electrical transmitters. Ki is that energy field that we have the ability to control and influence with practice.

So how does Reiki work?
Reiki is simply the use of the hands as a medium to transfer electrical energy to those who need healing physically, emotionally and energetically. By "turning on" the Ki energy the practitioner shares this energy with the client. This practice has been around for centuries and is very well utilized in alternative therapies especially in the far east.

What is RET?
Rapid Eye Therapy is a process for releasing negative belief systems, negative thought forms and emotional stress from the body. It works very well on children as well as adults. Physical manifestation of emotional distress is quite common as we have seen with stress causing illness and disease and RET is an excellent modality to facilitate the healing physically as well as emotionally.
